"I bought this product because it was not just a heater - it is both a heater and a fan. This product works and works well. We have a large second floor bedroom that gets cooler in the winter than the other areas of the house. We have already had temps of 38 at night and by setting this heater at 72 with the swivel turned on and tilted up - warms the room very quickly and then stops while the thermostat waits for the temp to drop. So I do not have to adjust the furnace to compensate for this bedroom. The remote control is extremely simple to use and the read-outs on the front are clear and easily readable. I have tried other heating units and this is by far the best. OK Amp clueless. Best Buy website lists the power draw at 12.5 Amps for 120 VAC. Dyson should have listed it in their web specs. Since the fan speed and temperature are variable, this would be worst case and not actual continuous use. At lower air speeds and reasonable temp setting, the thermostat would cycle the heating element on/off so the power draw would vary. Electric heat sucks amps, period. http://www.blackdysonfriday.us http://www.blackellipticalfriday.us http://www.blackfridaybarnesandnoble.us http://www.blackfridaybass.us http://www.blackfridaybissell.us
